SuperDOM price increments

Hello ,Due to extreme volatility and quick price movements of stocks and Futures such as NQ , working and trading with SuperDOM has become pretty difficult since price moves outside of a trader's view for a second or two making day trading and scalping a bit difficult. Is there a way to adjust the DOM to show Points instead of Ticks or some how change the price increments of the DOM to 2 ticks or more . Does anyone know of any tools that can accomplish this goal?

Thank you for the message.

The SuperDOM will always show the smallest price increment orders can be placed at.

There is no way to hide or change this as it would cause users to not see price levels that the orders could be trading and filling at.


If the price action is moving too fast, you could stretch the SuperDOM window to be taller, or use another window like a Chart to submit orders from instead as it can show a larger price range more easily than the SuperDOM.

If it was possible to have this option with SuperDOM then one would use it for certain securities , not necessarily for GOOG.

Thank you for the update.

It doesn't matter which instruments the users would do this to, it would still cause the data and information shown to be "incorrect" and not provide the full picture.

The default NinjaTrader Platform does not have any settings that would prevent the data from showing properly, missing values, or preventing the user from placing a trade at any price at any given time.

• I do not see NinjaTrader enacting this as it is a setting users would turn on by accident or not remember they turned it on and then be upset when they couldn't place their order at a specific price that exists on the market or why they can't see the order marker at the specific price level because they omitted it from their view.

If you would like to add this functionality, you are welcome to look for a 3rd party add-on NinjaScript that could add that functionality into the platform.
