connect to tradovate using ninjatrader 8.0.xx

Hi,
I know its possible to connect ninjatrader 8.1 to tradovate but is it possible to connect to version 8.0.xx? I'm currently using version 8.0.28 with a multi lifetime license.

When I go to configure a new connection and select "NinjaTrader" it doesn't show the "account type" dropdown like in the example below:

Thank you for posting.

In order to connect you would be required to upgrade to NinjaTader 8.1. To update to the latest version of NinjaTrader Desktop please follow the steps below.

• Login into the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard
• Click "Download" in the bottom left-hand corner of the sidebar
• Next select "Download" in the "Most Recent Release" Window in the main screen
• Once the installation had downloaded, ensure any previous version of NinjaTrader is closed before running the installation package.
  • Note: You may need to locate this in your "Downloads" folder in a Windows File Explorer

After the installation package is completed you will be able to log into NinjaTrader Desktop with the connection guide linked below.

Is it possible to test ninjatrader 8.1 on another computer without affecting my 8.0.xx setup?

For example on the new computer if i install ninjatrader 8.1 and import my license on the website I can still load 8.0.xx without any issues?

Yes you can install NinjaTrader 8.1 on another PC and this will not affect your current installation of 8.0.
