What is this weird trend box popping up when I open NT?

The only thing I have done between my last use and now is install the DValueArea add on, however, I don't currently have it loaded on my charts so I'm not even sure if that has anything to do with it? Is this some superpower market makers use to move the market? Kidding of course but not sure how to close it or figure out what is causing it. I can move the slider up and down but can't right click or anything and there is no window in the taskbar for it either, really weird! Any ideas? Thank you!

I should mention it does show up as "Trend" in my task manager and was able to close it out that way but it re-opens on restart.

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

This indicates that you are connecting to the 'Simulated Data Feed' connection. This allows you to manipulate a local data feed strictly simulated on your PC. If you move the slider up, the market will trend upwards, moving it down will have it trend downwards.


This serves as a way to practice trade under specific conditions.


If you don't intend to use this, please switch to a live market data provider from your 'Connections' menu.
