Upgrade Issue Install file NOT opening on Windows Server 2016

Hi

Trying to upgrade 8.1.2.0 64-bit to current version. Running on Windows Server 2016 Standard

I try openin the Nintrader msi install file downloaded from the website but it seems like the file is not opening.
No error message is displayed.
Note: I am the administrator on this computer and am log in with the adminisrator profile.

While NinjaTrader is technically capable of being installed on a Microsoft Windows Server 2016, there is a high likelihood that you will encounter multiple issues when installing and running it. We recommend using Windows 10 or Windows 11 if possible.

That happened to me on a cheap vps before too so I switched to ninjamobiletrader VPS and it's also running windows server 2016 and have never had an issue in over 2 years with them. I know ninjamobiletrader vps also always helps with NinjaTrader problems too, so ask them if they can help you with installing the upgrade file

I am running Ninjatrader from a VPS and the provided OS is Windows 2016. The option to use Windows 10 or 11 is not available.
I have tried using some previous downloaded versions of the msi install file and the older ones run fine. It seems like the msi files that are not opening are 8.1.3.0 and 8.1.2.1
(I have installed 8.1.2.0, and I can open the msi file to reinstall again)

The problem seems to be on your newer msi install files.

Just contact the VPS provider, my VPS support helps me all the time with help installing NinjaTrader updates and help with msi files for other applications too like TradingView desktop.
