Ninjatrader Continuum not able to connect

Patience.
Probably server maintenance, which is always scheduled
during market close periods but (unfortunately) never seems
to be announced ahead of time.
My point is:
Although inconvenient, loss of connection after market close
and on weekends should not be all that surprising.

Before market close (or just after market close) on a Friday,
goto Tools > Historical Data > Download and download all
the Tick/Minute/Day data for all your instruments. At least
that way you'll have everything needed for backtesting and
chart analysis during weekend periods of downtime due to
server maintenance.

I don't think NT mgmt has ever cared about providing
a status page -- which could be because the data feeds
are probably not in their mgmt domain. I mean, I betcha
CQG/Continuum not only hosts the machines, but also
maintains all the data/order servers themselves. That is,
it sure seems like weekend server maintenance is just as
much a surprise to the NT support folks as it is to us.

I'm long a 110 lot crude oil position and I cant get out. The market is tanking right now - I'm loosing all my money.

One redeeming attribute here is that the historical data servers are still connecting even without logon which means replay(playback) mode works fine and replay data can still be downloaded.
