    I can not add new MES sep contract to chart

    Can you pls help me to add new mes sep contract to new chart.ı am using june contract now. On new chart i want to add sep contract.
    Can you please explain step by step.
    When i write MES Sep24 to instrument and load to chart. the chart have gap up, it seems like last 5 days shows june data, and last minute shows sep data with gap up!!!

    Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

    Based on the information, it sounds like you are loading this correctly. You can expect to see a "gap up" based on your merge policy:

    By default, your merge policy will be set to 'MergeBackAdjusted' - this will use offset values to back adjust the historical price data to match the next front month. i.e MES JUN24 to MES SEP24.


    You could use 'MergeNonBackAdjusted' to leave these values 'raw' without an offset, or you can use 'Do Not Merge' to ONLY see the specific data series requested. (MES SEP24).



    ** Edit: To change your Merge Policy you'll want to go to Tools > Options > Market Data > Global Merge Policy.

    Note that this is applicable to all charts, not just a specific one.

      where can i change the merge policy for mes sep contract?

        Please look at the uploaded chart. I marked 'do not merge', and the chart both NQ Sep and MES have gap up on the time i loaded the chart. It seems like back data june and the last mnute when i loaded the chart is SEP.
        Hoıw can i fix it?
