Custom Drawing tools from current ones

Is it possible to create a custom drawing tool by editing a current drawing tool?

For example, I trade a lot of Supply and Demand...So I created a rectangle box in supply zone. I edited the looks and colors to what I want but now I want to do another one for Demand Zones with different colors. I have saved it as a Template, but it still means that I have to click on the box, select the template and change it. I saved it as a default but then it only gives me the one option and I have to change the looks using a template again.

What I'd like to do it edit it the way I like then save it as an individual drawing tool so I can assign it a hot key or even just be able to select it from the dropdowns and draw that item.

I have tried the "Realtime supply and demand zones" but it's not drawing them accurately. Plus, I draw mine on higher time frames it doesn't draw them on all charts. So, I just wanted to make a customized rectangle box that I can assign to a hot key or the dropdown.

Or if you could point me to a script that does this so I can add it.

Thank you for your post.

To clarify, are you looking to actually change the drawing tool's code to create your own custom version of the drawing? You can open the drawing tool's code from the NinjaScript Editor > right-click within the Editor > click on "Save As" > save your new version of the script, then edit this version's code.

Please let me know if this doesn't guide you in the right direction.

Thanks this helped. I was just trying to create a simple change then in the development thread I asked about the coding and learned that Ninjascript is just an extension of C# so I'm just going to write a whole new drawing tool.
