Clarification on Time Zone Settings for Strategy Analyzer

I would like to confirm some details regarding the historical data and the time zone settings in the Strategy Analyzer.

My PC is set to the GMT+2 time zone, and I have downloaded historical data in this time zone. However, my NinjaTrader 8 (NT8) platform is set to the EST time zone. When I run a test in the Strategy Analyzer and set the Start Time to 09:30 and the Stop Time to 15:30, am I correct in understanding that these times are based on the NT8 platform's time zone (EST) and not my computer's time zone?

If this is the case, can I freely change the time zone in NT8, knowing that the Strategy Analyzer will always refer to the time zone set within NT8, as long as my computer's time zone remains unchanged?

Hello DN0601,

The platform adjusts the times you see based on the setting in the options menu, your local PC time is not used. You can change the timezone however you will need to reload all historical data each time you do that so the new timezone is used. In your code you would refer to the times you see on the chart if you are using time in conditions.
