Reinstalling NT8 questions

Hello,

I'm running into many issues with my NT8 platform and I think I need to just reinstall the software. My questions are as follows:

1. If I reinstall NT8, will my machine ID change?
2. If I rename my Ninjatrader 8 folder in my documents folder to Ninjatrader 8 Old, and then copy some of the contents of Ninjatrader 8/bin/Custom folder, which contains some of my previously installed indicators, will NT8 recognize those indicators as already being installed and will it work with the Workspaces that I copy over also, or will I need to manually reinstall all of my indicators into the newly installed NT8 software?

I'd prefer to not to have to reinstall all of the indicators back into the new software, because in doing that I will probably end up having to contact the indicators providers with the new machine ID individially and this is time consuming, meaning that it could take a couple of days for them to reactivate the indicators in the new Ninjatrader 8 software.

Thank you for posting.

1. Reinstalling NinjaTrader on the same PC will not change the Machine ID assigned.
2. If you are using 3rd party indicators to ensure all the required files are installed in the required directories I usually suggest installing the add-ons using the original file provided by the vendor which should not require you register again since the Machine ID will remain the same.
