NT connection issue

If NinjaTrader settings were unchanged and you started experiencing connection delays or disconnections, an external factor is likely introducing the delays.

Think of it like a faucet:

• If the faucet works in the morning but trickles later, you would test the faucet itself.
• If the faucet is fine, the issue likely lies somewhere in the water supply before reaching the faucet.
• Similarly, once your credentials are entered,
  • NinjaTrader’s settings should not affect the connection.
  • The platform sends a signal to the necessary servers, and those servers are responsible for maintaining the connection.

If you’ve already completed network troubleshooting:

• Contact your VPN or VPS provider: They may need to adjust settings that could be causing the delays or dropouts.
• If you're testing on your local PC:
  • Try using a mobile hotspot to connect your PC.
    • If the issue persists on the hotspot, it points to a local issue on your PC.
    • If the issue is resolved, there may be a problem with your internet connection between your PC and the servers.
• Test with a second PC:
  • If possible, test on both your local Wi-Fi and a mobile hotspot.
  • This will help you determine if the issue is with the original PC.
