Name "indicator" does not exist in the current context

    Hello,

Following a reinstallation, I can no longer access my indicators. Initially it tells me that I need to fix the problems before doing anything. When I go into ninjascript editor there is a file called Ninjatrader\Vendor.cs which gives the error: ‘Name “indicator” does not exist in the current context’ This file does exist in C:\Users\M4x1m1L13n\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom.
Attached are the screenshots of ninjascript and the references.

Can you help me, I don't want to have to install it again.
Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello Hexades,

    Thank you for the update.

This message normally means there was an add-on in there not upgraded to work with the current 8.1.3.0 platform.

Unfortunately, the only steps we can provide as NinjaTrader support are to rename the whole Bin folder and repair the NinjaTrader installation. Then you can reimport your desired add-ons back in.

Remove all 3rd party NinjaScript Items from the platform to start fresh:
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Go to the Documents folder > NinjaTrader 8 > bin, Right-click on this folder and Rename it to "bin Old" and press Enter to save the name change
    • Now we need to Repair the NinjaTrader installation:
      • Go to the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > Click NinjaTrader 8 > Click Repair > Click Next through the prompts until finished
    • Reopen NinjaTrader and check for compile errors using the steps below:
      • Go to New > NinjaScript Editor > Right-click on the background and Compile to show if there are any errors remaining
      • If yes, take a screenshot of the error messages and include that in your response.
After the steps above, please follow the steps below to Repair the Installation of NinjaTrader:
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Go to the Windows Control Panel (NOT the Apps screen) > Programs and Features (Sometimes "Uninstall a program") > Click NinjaTrader > Click "Repair"
    • Click Next through the prompts until it is Finished and it is done
From here, reopen NinjaTrader and test if the errors continue.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
