ATM strategy not working

Hello I'm trying to use a atm strategy, and it would appear that it is broken, or maybe i just don't understand.

when i place a trade with the currency parameter, and with the (select atm strategy on submission) mode on , it works as intended.

However, the problem is, when scaling into a larger position the stop loss doesn't move with the average position, it just adds to the original stop loss with the amount of orders that i use, and remain at the original stop loss position.

I tested this issue on other parameter as well like ticks and and its the same issue for those as well


Here is an example:

I place a trade on Mnq on the sim with a tick stop of 50 ticks and a take profit of 100 ticks


I later added to the position there for moving my average price up however my stop orders did not move with the average price the stayed in place



Can someone help me understand if I'm wrong or is this a bug, its the same for all stop parameters not just ticks

Thank you for posting.

When averaging into a position when the Stop Loss order are combined this will not automatically adjust the Stop to a new price level based on the average price and will remain at the original value of the first entry.

If you do not want the additional position to be combined and to get their own Stop and Profit based on the new entry price you will want to use the following steps to change your ATM Strategy selection mode.

• Right click in in the Chart Trader panel->Properties
• Select "Keep selected Atm strategy template on order submission" from the ATM Strategy selection mode drop down menu
• Click Ok
