Why do keep getting this error multiple times a week? See attached image.

Hey staff,

As the title says, why does this keep happening to me? I have had it several times now in a period of about 6 months. I am running the latest version of Ninjatrader 8.0.28 (I am not upgrading to 8.1 due to bugs and issues).

As far as I know, there is no 2nd login to my account, so is the broker disconnecting me? If yes, why?

Thank you for posting.

This error can occur if there is a momentary disconnect/reconnect attempt. I suggest first resetting your dns with the steps below.

• Go to the Windows menu
• Type CMD
• Right click on Command Prompt->Run as administrator
• Type ipconfig /flushdns then hit Enter
• Once finished close this window

Next shut down your PC then reboot your modem, restart your PC and let me know if you can then test your connection again.

Thanks for the above information. Quick question, if we are restarting the machine, why would the ipconfig portion be needed?
