Current chart data looks to be corrupted

    Hi,
I noticed today that my RB 07-24 chart looks a lot different from my other Ninjatrader RB 07-24. Attached are the two charts. The chart with the circle highlights the candles that are incorrect compare to the correct chart. But their current price value on the chart and the SuperDom are showing the correct price. Since the previous candles are incorrect, the moving averages are not calculating correctly which can give me wrong entry signals. I deleted the cache in the db folder and restarted my computer already. What else can I do to correct this problem?

    Hello FAQtrader,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you are seeing inconsitent historical chart data:

Please go to Tools-> Options -> Market Data-> under Global Merge Policy, select "Merge adjusted/Merge back adjusted".

Apply the change, then go back to your chart, right click on your chart and select the option that says "Reload all historical data".

If this does not work, additionally :

Clear old historical and cache data by doing the following:

    - Shut down NinjaTrader 8

    - Go to the 'Documents/NinjaTrader 8/db' folder of your computer

    - Delete the files inside the 'cache', 'day', 'minute', and 'tick' folders.

    - Important: Do not remove any other files inside the NinjaTrader 8 Documents folder.

    -Restart your PC

When you restart NinjaTrader 8, you may notice a slightly longer initial load time as all of your historical chart data is re-downloaded, but your overall performance should be better.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance or if you continue to experience this behavior.

What is the difference between the settings in the Global Merge Policy. The system with the correct chart has the Global Merge Policy set to "Do not merge"

        Hello FAQtrader ,

The Merge Policy would be to ensure the Chart shows continues data for the contract without rollover breaks/gaps.

More information regarding this setting may also be found in our Help Guide:

        https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...rge_policy.htm

If the merge policy is not a factor in your case, then please proceed with the reloading of the historical data:
