Momentum Indicator Values

Hello,

I find the Momentum indicator very helpful when I select Bars and track the strenght value. I was wondering if you could give me more information about how the value is calculated and what a negetive (below zero) value means.

Thank you for your post.

The Momentum indicator measurs the amount that a security's price has changed over a given time span. So it provides an indication of a market's velocity and to some degree, a measure of the extent to which a trend still holds true.

Negative values means the price is decreasing, aka negative momentum.
