I want to test a strategy based to discrete contracts and not a continuous chart and want to display various contracts on various panels
for example,
panel 1: display ES 06-24, this is the current contract on may 12th (today) , so should have around one year of data with volume only during the current month, if I display previous contract that should be expired 3month ago and no data should be displayed now as it's expired, the issue is even I configured the data in options setting as "Do not Merge" it still display like a continuous chart (I do no Know if downloading data when configured as merged and back adjusted as I did will forbid me to display data as contracts)
How can I configure data to display only contracts (current, past and next expires)
