Crash that requires computer restart

I can't help but think this app is become less stable over the time I use it. I now get this error after strategy analyzer locks up and i need to exit. I am unable to get back in without a reboot and it's becoming very frustrating. With so many years in development, how are these issues so regular?

This error message indicates that NinjaTrader's files are being used by a background process and it will not let any other program use them until it has been stopped.

This can also appear when the platform is closed but a 3rd-party add-on is stuck running in the background processes. Unfortunately, we are not able to troubleshoot why this occurs with add-ons we do not develop.

Please use the following steps to stop the background process before reopening NinjaTrader:

• Select the Windows Start Icon > Search for "Command Prompt" > Right-click on Command Prompt > "Run as Administrator > Yes
• Type or copy/paste the following text exactly as it appears
• taskkill /im ninjatrader.exe /f
• Hit “Enter” on your keyboard

Once complete, please try reopening NinjaTrader.
