Netting of Futures position - Emini vs Micro

Does ninjatrader offer netting of similar margin positions?

For example, if I'm long 1 ES and then short 9 MES, on the account tab, it doesn't seem to net the positions off, resulting in intraday margin reflecting as $950 instead of $50

Is this normal or visual issue?

Thank you for your inquiry and for using NinjaTrader!

This behavior you're observing would be expected. NinjaTrader does not automatically net positions across different contract sizes or types. Each instrument & contract is treated independently, and margins are calculated accordingly even if the positions are economically offsetting.
