    Wrong Buy & Sell markers on Minutes & Ticks charts

    NinjaTrader does not show the buy and sell markers on the chart correctly. It shows markers in prior bars away and same issue with arrows. When my orders are filled at a particular price and time, I expect NinjaTrader to show markers correctly on the chart i.e., candle bar and price at which it was filled.

    Note: This issue does not happen when trading in replay mode or SIM account. It only happens when I am trading live. Markers working correctly is more important for me in live mode so that I don't need to manually mark each trade end of day on charts.

    I enter and exit orders via chart trader (i.e., by moving orders on the chart.). I use Rithmic, and trade on MNQ JUN24 on 500 Ticks and 1 minute bars time frame using NinjaTrader 8.1.3.0 64-bit

    Server time, PC time and NinjaTrader time are synchronized as you can see in the picture.

    Could you explain to me how can I solve this situation?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Please try testing your platform in Safe Mode to verify if this behavior is caused by a 3rd-party add-on or is isolated to your Workspace using the steps below. Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces and connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies (3rd-party add-ons and NinjaScripts)
    • Getting instrument updates from the server
    To open the platform in Safe Mode:
    • Go to the Windows Start Menu
    • Search for NinjaTrader > select 'NinjaTrader (Safe Mode)'
    • Once you have opened the platform in Safe Mode, you may manually connect to your Data Provider from the Connections dropdown

    Once you are connected, open a new chart with no custom bar types, indicators, or templates and test for issues. Does the behavior persist on this blank Workspace in Safe Mode? Are the markers still displaced?

    If not, please try opening your previous workspace from the Control Center > Workspaces dropdown. It may already appear as open. Hit 'close' and do not save, then re-open it again for your windows to appear. You will notice that no 3rd-party add-ons are available in Safe Mode. Does the behavior return to your regular Workspace in Safe Mode?

    If not, restart NinjaTrader normally, and test for the behavior on your Workspace normally once more with your 3rd-party add-ons available. If the issue returns, we suggest rebuilding your workspace. Keep track of each add-on you implement to identify the cause of the behavior should it return. If the issue does not resurface, it confirms the error was isolated only to your other Workspace.

    We also suggest backing up your workspace (Tools > Export > Backup) so you may restore a working version if the issue returns. Additional information about backups may be read here in our Help Center.

    Please let us know the results of this test. We look forward to your response.

      Hi Erick, thanks for your answer!

      Ok I will no trade more today, like is in live account I will try it next monday.

      I will test on 1 minute Chart Style Candlestick chart and 500 Ticks Chart Style Candlestick chart in Safe Mode.

      I have only 1 Add-on in the AddOns folder from 1 indicator, I will remove the indicator and remove the Add-on too and make 1 entry-exit for test prior to test in Safe Mode.

          Hello joselube001,

          Thank you for your message.

          Since it is still occuring in Safe Mode, after reviewing your screenshot, the bar spacing looks modified to me.

          In this case, Please create the following chart to use for testing. This removes many variables to ensure nothing is preventing the chart/plot executions from working as expected.

          First, disconnect all active connections.

          -Go to Connections -> and disconnect all green connections.

          Next, open a new workspace.

          -Go to Workspaces -> new -> and create a blank workspace.

          Now please create the following graph to use for testing. This removes many variables to ensure that nothing prevents the chart from working as expected:
          • Go to Control Center > New > Chart.
          • Select MNQ 06-24 (also written as "MNQ JUN24")
          • Make a 1 minute chart
          • Set the 'Days to load' to 5
          • Make sure the 'Template' in the upper right corner is set to "< None >".
          • Set the Timeframe > Trading Hours > To "use instrument settings".
          • Make sure to scroll to bottom to confirm Plot executions are enabled.
          • Click OK to create the chart
          • Now connect only to your data feed for the account you have placed these trades on.
          • Does the trade markers/arrows show correctly on the bars?
            • If this chart has loaded and works as expected, how does it differ from the other chart?

          If the same is still occuring on the test chart:

          Please send in your log and trace files so that we may look into what may be occurring.

          You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

          Make sure to categorize your request at the top.

          Ensure 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

          If you could also include the screenshot of what you are seeing, that would be appreciated.

            The same is still occurring on the test chart.

            Have I to send the logs from safe mode or normal mode?

              I sent the Log and Trace files from safe mode with no problem.

                Same here!

                My UL is TSLA.

                Price over 300$ on 1 minute instead of 22ish
