Does Eastern Time automatically convert to Daylight savings time?

Hi,
Apologies if this has been asked before (although I can't find this exact question):

I live on the east coast of Australia and my pc is set to my local time. I have set NT8 time zone to Eastern Time (US & Canada) as I wish to trade during the specific windows that ICT specifies.
My question is: Do I need to change the NT8 time zone when NY moves from Eastern time to Daylight Savings Time and then back, or does the platform automatically adjust somehow?

Daylight savings should be handled automatically, provided you have selected a time zone within NT8 that has daylight savings observed.

I guess that is what my question was. I wanted to know if Eastern Time (US & Canada) would automatically change.
I will wait until the change to see if it does.
