Strategy Analyzer new behavior

I use the Stratergy Analyzer to backtest & optomize my custom strategies. Previously from the list of optomized results I would select one result and right clicking on that result i could select "Open in Strategy Analyzer tab". This would open that selected result as a "Backtest" in a new tab. Now the behavior is to rerun the entire optomization in the newly opened tab. This is problematic because the optomizations can run long (as much as an hour in some cases) and uses a lot of resources.

Is this new behavior intentional or a bug?
How can a specific result from the optomized list be opened without rerunning the entire optomization?

Prevously if I wanted to duplicate the entire optomization i could select the TAB its on and use "Duplicate in New TAB". This method also asks to confirm whether or not to rerun the optomization process (a nice safety net).

This is not a bug, however there is an open feature request to add the ability for optimizations and backtests to not have to be re-run when duplicating a tab or selecting a result in Strategy Analyzer.

I will add your vote to this feature request, it is being tracked under SFT-6074.

Thank you for your response.

There was a bug in previous versions where the results were not ready when opening the analyzer logs via a new tab or window. The analysis has to be re-run whenever a new window or instance (like a tab) now to prevent that.

I used this "bug" extensively in the past. Can you also add my vote for this to now be a feature? Also, what version do i have to revert back to to be able to right click the strategy and run as a backtest in a new tab versus running the entire optimization again? Thank you in advance.

Version 8.0.28 does not re-run the analysis.
