NT8 Memory Buildup

Is there a reason why NT8 is unable to clear it's memory usage? I notice that during development (not trading) it will continue to ramp up memory consumption. Mine is currently eating up 7 GB but I've seen it go to 16. This happens even when I'm idling. Is this a known issue?

• Open the 'Windows File Explorer' then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

No response yet? Again, I was testing last night, left app open and this morning with nothing running it's sucking up 3 GB. Where is the memory going and why does it not free up?
