    Unhandled exception: Could not load file or assembly and APEX copier flawed display

    Dear Ninjatrader,

    I am facing 'Unhandled exception: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.CodeAnalysis, Version=4.6.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. What's wrong with this as I cannot load or login Ninjatrader with this error msg?​

    Second issue: Sometimes it can load NT though, The APEX copier would be displayed in an unclear manner without the ability to see tick or untick copier for the list of accounts I wish to copy.

    Kindly advice what I should do next to troubleshoot these problems?

    Where is the assembly located?

    Did you copy the DLL file(s) to your
    'NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom' folder?

    Did you add a reference to the assembly
    using the NinjaScript editor?

    As for any problem with the Apex trade copier,
    you should probably ask Apex.

      Thank you for your post.

      Once we have finished troubleshooting, I also advise that you contact Apex for assistance with the trade copier, as the errors may be unrelated.

      Microsoft.CodeAnalysis could be missing from your NinjaTrader program files.
      I recommend that you repair your NinjaTrader platform to try to resolve this error.

      To repair the platform, please do the following:
      • Shut down NinjaTrader
      • Go to your computer's Control Panel > Programs & Features (Note: search for 'Control Panel' to find it within the Windows Start Menu. This will be a different window than the Settings page)
      • Left-click once on NinjaTrader > select 'Repair' above the list of available programs
      • Restart the platform after it finishes repairing, and test for this behavior again
      ​If this does not resolve the error, please email us at Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com for further troubleshooting. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a message 'ATTN Eduardo'. Additionally, please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
      • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
      • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
      • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
      • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
