    Backtesting error

    Hi, I am experiencing <Again> more backtesting errors. I frankly never seen this one before. The top panel is very much inconsistent with the lower panel. What am I missing here? thanks

      Sure Gaby, look at the total net for EURSEK, that is 100$. Now look at the cumulative below for the same instrument. very, very different.

        It looks like your screenshot is only showing a portion of the results of the Analysis section. Can you please provide a screenshot/screenshots that include the entire section of the results?

          Hi, What fo you mean? a detail of the cumulative for every day? too extensive to take a screenshot and regardless, you can see the total result in the curve below, the last day it is not $100, it is above 54k$.

            Hello tradebot,

            The cumulative net profit is not displayed in the top portion, only the total net profit. These are not the same statistic.

            The total net profit corresponds to the net profit in the Analysis section. Not the cumulative net profit column or the graph - total net profit =/= cumulative net profit.

            Yes, please take several screenshots if you can't fit it into one screenshot. I would just like to do the math and accumulate the results to see the exact discrepancy.

            The screenshot you posted only shows a portion of the results from the Analysis section, but every single result goes into calculating the total at the top.
