I trade sometimes using a scaling in strategy when a trade is going against me. Example: I am long 1 contract but the trade is going against me. Instead of taking the loss, I will buy more longs even though the market is selling off. This makes action moves my AVERAGE PRICE LINE downward and allows me to get out at breakeven on the next pullback.
However, because of scaling in and because im trading a faster chart, its difficult/cumbersome/slow to fumble with clicking everything needed to get the correct amount of exit contracts and an order placed exactly right. I am not using any ATM strategy and always manually place my orders.
Is there a way to just hit a button or a hotkey or something that will instantly place a breakeven order on the chart for the right contracts at the average entry price? Im trying to avoid mistakes.
