    Limites propfirm access ?

It seems from a certain time (apparently last summer ?) that some propfirm will be unable to offer NinjaTrader as a platform.

It is stated that, even if you are connected using rithmic:

"Ninjatrader will no longer be offering its services to new propfirms. Only existing propfirms will be able to benefit from this service until next summer (which one ?). Ninja is in the process of creating its own propfirm provider environment."

    Is that a joke ?
Or are you thinking people are nuts ?

I am clearly not haapy with that, and I will seriously think to move to another platform.

    A more "open" platform

Just curious, where is this stated?

      Got a link?

Interesting, I didn't know about this one.

I hope they don't start cutting off the existing favourites in favour for their own prop platform.

In the meantime did you consider using one of the existing favourites with the discount codes. Usually you get a month for less than 20 dollars.

Apex and Bulenox are both on sale today.

            Hello Philippe56140,

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

Not sure where this originated from, but NinjaTrader is always looking to make its platform open to users from all sorts of avenues. You are always welcome to explore different providers based on your needs.

            Thank you.

I found it while exploring the link provided
by the OP, specifically, I found it here,

Are you a proprietary trader who wants more capital for your work? Our traders receive up to $3,000,000 for their proprietary trading.

Click on 'Shop' along top and then click on
              'Phidias Propfirm' on the left.

Had to scroll down a lot, but I found this,

              "Attention :
Our accounts cannot be connected to the NinjaTrader platform. Ninja trader will no longer offer services to new propfirms. Until next summer, we will only offer services to existing propfirms. Ninja is in the process of creating its own propfirm provider environment. All platforms except Ninja Trader that support Rithmic feeds can be used with your Phidias Propfirm accounts (Sierra Chart, Quantower, Atas, Bookmap, etc.) We can help set up the platforms, and more specifically Sierra Chart, which we master very well with the members of the Phidias team. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)."

              Does Support have any comment?

What does "Ninja is in the process of creating its
own propfirm provider environment" mean exactly?

I'm guessing that Ninjatrader are pushing the Tradovate connection type for new prop firm. I know that with MyFundedFutures if you try to use a Rithmic connection though Ninjatrader you get an error message saying "This provider is not authorised to use Rithmic with Ninjatrader" you need to use Tradovate for MFF.

So I'm guessing for newer prop firms Ninjatrader are requiring Tradovate.

                  Hello all,

I will not comment on bltdavid's most recent post, however do not take my silence as a confirmation of anything. Our Support team is simply not made aware of any changes/updates to the business and will not engage in speculation.

                  Thank you.

NinjaTrader has a separate website where people interested in creating prop firms can register, I think it's https://www.tradovatetechnologies.com/

You can probably ask that team directly if Ninja is only doing Tradovate going forward or still doing Rithmic too.
