    Installation 8.1.3.0 crash and old version that no longer works

    I launched my desktop platform this morning,

    I received a message of a new version. I downloaded it, but during the installation I got an error message saying that I do not have the required rights to copy an installation file.
    So I stopped it as I couldn't do anything anymore and the install version no longer launches !

    So I'm blocked and can no longer work!

    Exact same issue here.

    I get this error when i sign-in to the old platform

    I updated to the new platform and got the same issue. Accounts will not connect. ​

      Hello,

      Please use the steps provided below to repair your installation:
      • Close NinjaTrader
      • Go to your Windows Control Panel
      • Select "Uninstall a program"
      • Select NinjaTrader 8
      • Click Repair
      • Once completed open NinjaTrader
      ​Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

        I looked through the Ninja folder looking for the package, but couldn't find anything. So I tried to use the updated download file; "NinjaTrader.Install.msi" but I get an error message telling me that the file is not a valid installation package for the ninjatrader product.

          I went to look for the installation package which corresponds to the version which was working before I tried to do an update (version which I can no longer launch, I remind you) and there too the installation is blocked by a .rbf file! I granted it all the existing rights, but I still have a clerical error!

            Well, even if it means starting over with a clean version, since nothing worked anymore following the failure of the update. I uninstalled everything, deleted everything, cleared the cache and the registry and did a new installation on another drive, it works.
