How do i trade futures contracts that are further out?

I dont want to trade the front month. Im trying to set up a strategy on a contract further out this year. How do i add lets say "ES DEC24" to my properties drop down menu?

Thank you very much for your post.

After charting the contract once (e.g. by manually editing the "ES JUN24" to "ES DEC24"), it would appear in the instrument dropdown menu, as this always displays the most recent 5 instruments selected.

To permanently add it to an instrument list, please click on Tools > Instrument Lists.

After selecting the list you want to add the instrument to on the left side, you may click "add" on the right side to add the instrument and expiration.

This can be done by typing the whole instrument name and expiration into this field, e.g. "ES DEC24".
