Chart Templates

Hello I have a question regarding saving chart templates. I have right clicked on a number of charts and saved them as various templates i.e. Daily, 8 hour, 1 hour etc. I give them all their own names and then when I go to "New" and create a new chart, I select the correct instrument and the template to load but what I notice is that the chart settings shown before I click apply are just default chart settings and when I click apply/load I get a window with a chart loading that ends up loading as a basic chart with nothing on it other than candlesticks. None of my saved parameters are loading onto the chart.

A somewhat separate question is how do I take a bunch of chart windows and combine them into 1 or 2 windows with their respective tabs? I started out this way on my laptop then later duplicated them all to individual windows to layout on a larger external screen. Now i'd like to get them all back into 1 or 2 windows with tabs so I can easily fit on my laptop screen. My first attempt was to create a new chart window, load one of my saved chart templates, add a tab and open another saved chart but it's not currently working like that for me.

Thank you very much for your post.

While the chart template, when applied to the New > Chart window, would not display the changes immediately, it should apply all settings stored therein to the chart when it is created.

This would include e.g. the appearance of bars, and which indicators are added to the chart, but would not include the chart type itself (e.g. Minute or Renko).

Unfortunately, the chart type would still have to be set manually in this case.

Regarding your second question; While separating a tab from an active chart is possible, I am not aware of a way to easily re-add it. To add the individual chart back to an existing one, it would have to be re-added manually.

So after trying a few more times I am getting varied results. Mostly that drawing objects aren't showing up. I've tried creating a new chart based off the saved template, once it loads it is only showing my horizontal drawings, no other elements whatsoever. I have various trend channels drawn that are not showing. Even some arrows with text that aren't showing

From there I even try right clicking on the new chart and loading my saved chart template for this same time period and what actually loads is what looks like a mostly default chart, even the horizontal drawings that loaded on the initial load are gone yet it might even load an RSI I'm not even using on that time period chart. I'm currently stumped

In theory should I be able to right click on a main chart, save as template, open up a new chart (load with template and same time period) and an exact copy of the saved template chart should load with indicators, drawings etc. correct??..... Even if it didn't, which its not currently on my end, and I right clicked and manually loaded the template I would think that should also load it as a replica of the saved chart but on my end its not doing that either. Please advise

A work around for me for this issue would simply be able to combine the windows back into a tabbed window but you state the system is not capable of doing this.
