    Rithmic Logon Error on new PC

    Good afternoon!

    I just bought a new machine and was getting all of Apex/NT8 setup installed and I've now run into an issue with connecting to my Rithmic account in Ninjatrader. I can log on to Rithmic by itself just fine, but in NT8 I get the "Please check your account connection parameters and internet connection (Logon failed)" message.

    I saw on an older post an admin noted that a previous user who had this error was being blocked because windows update changed his "Machine ID." Is this something that can be fixed for me by NT staff?

    Hello agw73,

    Thank you for posting.

    Please go to Connections->configure->Remove you current connection->Restart NinjaTrader->Recreate your connection->Confirm Apex is selected from the System drop down in your connection settings and test again.

    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
