MTN data and availability to trade

    MTN data and availability to trade

    MTN is listed in my Futures Instruments but it appears the data for it and hence the ability to trade it are not supported on Ninjatrader Brokerage.
    Please add this data and availability to trade.
    The full contract treasuries are available, but micro treasuries are not.

    For NinjaTrader Brokerage accounts, you can reach out to

    or to the Orders/Risk Management team directly at [email protected]

    and they can let you know if that data or trading authorization can be added to your account.

ID:	1299742​I want the data for it .. then I can see if I want to trade it.
      Why is it that I can search on instruments for "TN" then I can see :"MTN" and click it to add it to my Market Analyzer but there is no data for it ?? And I can add a new chart for MTN, but there is no data in the chart.
      It appears that the data for MTN is not in the Ninjatrader data feed, but MTN is in the instrument lists.

      Please advise

        Thank you for your post.

        The platform supports a variety of instruments

        The actual live data you receive once connected, depends on the data enablements for the account. This is something that is controlled on the broker/provider account side.


        If you need to enable additional live data, for NinjaTrader Brokerage accounts:

        You can choose what market data you would like enabled for your account from Settings > Plans page of your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard in the 'Market Data' section.

        Here is some additional information on how market data fees are billed:
        • Market data fees are billed at the beginning of each month.
        • Any new market data subscriptions will be billed within 1-2 business days.
        • Market Data Fees are billable for the current month in the full amount. The exchanges do not prorate the fees or otherwise discount them based on the number of days remaining in the month.

          I have CMEGROUP_TOP data form Ninjatrader Brokerage. MTN is a CME product.
          I know how to subscribe to data.. Ive been a Ninjatrader customer for years.
          I understand the billing for data... Ive been paying for it for years.

          Please do not reply to my questions with useless boilerplate answers ... instead actually read my question and my comments and get me a specific answer to my specific question/comments.

          I already have the CME data... I am asking you why the MTN data is missing when it should be in the data feed. Click image for larger version

            Hello,

            Cetain instruments need certain account enablements.

            Also, while MTN might technically be on the CME, your specific broker might not support data/trading for it.

            As we do not have nor request nor review brokerage account info here, your best path forward is to getting your account enablements reviewed by your account support/broker.

            Then they can clarify what is needed for this data/if it is supported for your account.

              This is a support forum on the ninjatrader.com website. I was under the impression that ninjatrader.com, the Ninjatrader 8 software, and the Ninjatrader Brokerage were all related. I have mentioned above that my data provider is in fact Ninjatrader Brokerage, but the way that you are telling me to get my answer from someone else leads me to believe that either you havent read my question or the details of my comments.... OR... ninjatrader.com has nothing to do with the Ninjatrader brokerage that serves me the data that I am subscribed to in my Client Portal at https://account.ninjatrader.com/. Sorry, but I am just baffled that I cannot get an answer from a Ninjatrader support rep in this forum about an issue inquiry regarding my data from Ninjatrader brokerage.

              I dont understand why you... a support representative of Ninjatrader cant answer a question about the data that I subscribe to from Ninjatrader.... and further more, why you are speaking to me about my broker as if it is a different company when that broker/data provider is Ninjatrader. Im just baffled.

                Account data / specific instrument enablements need to be sent directly to the Brokerage side. Not the platform.

                Just like certain cryptos, there are products that accounts do no readily receive data for or are unable to trade with without further authorization.

                I have reached out for you and confirmed that NinjaTrader brokerage accounts do not support this data.
