Market replaying not updating in real time
Hello, I have seen several fourm posts and I am still having the issue of Market Replay not playing the data. I made sure everything is connected, and proper contract month is selected. I do not see any price action play on the chart, but it does update after i switch time frames. I also do not see price action on the DOM.
Any Help would be appreciate with this issue.Tags: None

Thank you for your inquiry and for using NinjaTrader!
So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:- What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
- What instrument symbol that you have selected on your chart? (For example: ES 06-24, NQ 06-24, ES 03-24, etc.)
- What is the 'End Date' that you have selected on the Data Series window of your chart?
- What is the Start Date that you have selected on the Playback Controller?
- What is the End Date that you have selected Playback Controller?
- If you right-click on the Playback Controller and select 'Available Data', do you have the dates of data that you are attempting to replay for that specific instrument & contract?
- Did you record this data or download it from our servers?
Feel free to send me a screenshot of the 'Available Data' window, as well as the Playback Controller and your chart so that I can verify your settings.- To send a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.
- Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save it as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, we do not offer that data from our servers any longer so if it is corrupted or non-functional, I would not be able to replace it. However, I do want to see if this behavior persists in Safe Mode.
Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
- Loading workspaces.
- Connecting on start-up.
- Loading custom assemblies.
- Getting instrument updates from the server.
To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
- Exit NinjaTrader.
- Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
- Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the login screen and login.
- You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
Once you have opened the platform in safe mode:
- Reconnect to your Playback Connection from the 'Connections' menu
- Please open a new chart of the same chart style, interval and instrument with no custom bar types/indicators/templates and test for issues.
Does this continue in Safe Mode? This will help me to determine if the problem is with the data files or something in the workspace within platform.

Hello Achel0us,
Thanks for your response.
It appears that the roll over date for the December 2022 contract for ES was actually September 8th, so my assumption would be that the contract was expired at that point. If you have the same date of data downloaded for NQ 12-22, can you please test with that instead?
