i have a subscription for yankee equities data with ib. i want to import minute data from 2018 to date for some select tickers like amd, intc and others. this in order to backtest, evaluate and adapt some strategies i have developed in nt.


¿how can i import this data?

Thanks for your post.

Historical data could be imported by going to Tools > Import > Historical Data.

Note that the Historical Data must be in a format specified in the help guide.

i read your reply, and that means that i would have to export all the data to multiple files and then import it to nt.


¿is it possible to connect the ib data feed to nt and have nt create the databases itself?

Thanks for your notes.

If you have a connection to Interactive Brokers configured in NinjaTrader and Interactive Brokers offers the amount of historical data for the instruments, you could connect to your Interactive Brokers connection and try downloading Historical data for those instruments in the Tools > Historical Data window.
