Let's say a candle is completed and if the next candle breaks below it, I want to go short. I want to simply hit a button to put a sell limit order 1 tick below this previous candle as this new one is forming. I have been working on a personal strategy and simply hitting the Buy Mkt/Sell Mkt button. The problem is I am either too late on my reaction or too early causing me to make mistakes that would have worked if I entered the position properly.
I have seen custom order management buttons in a few videos (can't seem to find them now of course), where when you click a button such as "Sell Below", it will enter a short however many ticks you set it to below the previous candle. My plan was I wanted to get a stream deck or use hot keys to do this. But I can't seem to figure out how I can actually make this happen within Ninjatrader.
