Drawing tool "Attach to" property

Some of my drawing tools have "All Charts" in their "attach to" property, and some are set to the particular chart. I'd like to understand how that setting is determined.
If I have the particular chart name in that property and then set the template to default, will each chart 1) substitute its name when using that tool, 2) default to "All Charts" or 3) set that property in some other way?

Thank you for your post.

The out-of-the-box default behavior of the Attach To property is designated to that particular chart. The 'All Charts' option is something that can be selected and saved as a new default for the default drawing object template. If you'd prefer to return those drawing objects to their standard default behavior, you can select 'template' then 'reset' within the Drawing Objects window.
