NinjaTrader The situation gets worse as time goes by.

I don't know what's happening, but the platform has been performing very poorly lately. Often at the beginning of the week, it doesn't fetch data feed from the third-party broker, nor does it update itself. What's going on? Is it still worth using NinjaTrader, or should we start looking into another platform? I would like an honest answer. Maybe this is happening with the free version of NinjaTrader. Perhaps the licensed one doesn't have this issue. Well, let me tell you something: I don't want to flatter you in any way, but at the moment, I don't have the money to buy this license. I've set a goal that the first chance I have money, I'll buy the license, primarily out of respect and gratitude because NinjaTrader has helped me so much with custom timeframes. But to make this money, I need to become profitable, and for that, I need to train, which isn't really possible because, guess what, the platform isn't working. I wouldn't want to switch to another platform, but if things continue like this, the situation will force me to do so. I know, one user is insignificant, but this is a general problem, not just one user's issue.

Thank you for posting.

The license key being used whether free or paid would not change how the application operates such as performance, data requests, etc. So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body along with a description of what is not working as expected and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".
