NT connection disconnects as soon its connected & the connection icon remains green

    NT connection disconnects as soon its connected & the connection icon remains green

    As soon as i connect NT, i see a log message saying its disconnected.
    However, the connection icon remains green & no data is getting loaded.
    How do i get this fixed?

    I am seeing my Simulated Data Feed charts in a perpetual "Loading tick replay..." state.

    I think maybe either we are still in maintenance mode or the services have not been restarted properly after this.

    NT8 peeps -- if anyone is on now, parts of the live service appear to be down.

    At the end of my log file, it says:

    2024-03-15 20:49:04:888|3|2|Connection lost to the NinjaTrader Information Server: is-us-nt-005.ninjatrader.com
    2024-03-15 20:49:04:948|3|2|Connection lost to the NinjaTrader Historical Data Server: hds-us-nt-011.ninjatrader.com

    I see this behavior on multiple machines.

      I'm experiencing the same issue. No mention this issue so far at https://web.ninjatrader.com/service-status. NT really needs 24 hour tech support

        NT support team,

        Any update on this issue?
        I started getting error last night & thought it would be fixed by morning.
        its 7 AM & the issue is still there...

            Hello Everyone,

            Thank you for the messages.

            We were made aware of a Historical Data Server outage on Saturday that has since been resolved.


            Please restart NinjaTrader and reconnect to your data to resolve this behavior if it continues.


            If you are still missing data, you can re-download the historical data by following the steps below:
            • Close NinjaTrader
            • Go to the Documents folder > NinjaTrader 8 > db, this folder holds all of the historical data
              • Delete the following folders:
                • Tick
                • Minute
                • Day
                • Cache
                  • Do NOT delete any other files or folders
              • After Deleting these folders, reopen NinjaTrader and it will make New ones automatically.
            ​Reopen NinjaTrader, reconnect to data, and wait for the historical data to download and the charts to load back in.


            Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
