New Ninjatrader Release

Over a year ago, I wrote the following post about Ninjatrader charts crashing regularly:

It took about 8 months before Ninjatrader support started taking the issue seriously with Ryan starting to investigate with developers, and another 4 months before a developer acknowledged that he had fixed the issue. 13 months on from the issue first being reported it has still not been released.

Given the severity of this issue, why has this not been deployed as a release? It has been almost 4 months since the last full release. Could a patched version of 8.1.2.1 not be released which only contains the crashing Fix and no other new functionality? Many users are presently stuck on 8.0.26.1 (released June 22, 2022) because of this issue.

While it would not be possible to provide a patched release prior to the next major release, I can confirm this fix will be implemented in the next major release of the software. At this time we do not have a set release date available for this new version. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Is there any update on this for the people who are stuck using a 2 year old version of Ninjatrader due to the crashes?
