Chart Bar Alignment

By default, the current bar populates on the far right side of the chart nearest the Y-axis. Is there a way to realign the current bar appears slightly to the left so that there is about 25% black space between the current bar and the Y-axis?

Thanks for your post.

You could increase the right margin property in the Chart Properties window.

To do so, right-click on the chart window, select 'Properties', locate the 'Right side margin' property, and input the value you want to use for the right margin. The larger the value you set the further the current bar will be from the price axis.

Thanks that worked. How do I also do that for the bottom and top of the Chart? I want to show about 25% blank space above the highest candle on the chart and about 25% blank space below the lowest candle on the chart.

Thanks for your notes.

You could set the 'Margin lower' and 'Margin upper' properties in the Chart Panel Properties window.

To do so, right-click on the price axis of the chart, select 'Properties', set the 'Margin lower' and 'Margin upper' properties to your desired values, and click OK.
