How to add multiple expirations of a contract when in Month Abbreviation mode?

    Howdy,
How can I add multiple expirations of a futures contract when in Month Abbreviation mode (the preference in Tools-Options-General-Symbology display style)?

When searching for an instrument to add to a list, alternate contract expiration dates do not show up like they do when in Exchange mode.

Here's a screenshot when I search for NQ (and looking to add the March expiry, so I can see which contract has more volume).

    Thanks.

    Hello tradrdude,

    Thank you for the message.

You demonstrated this using the "Instruments" window which is kind of like a dictionary of all the available instruments and their contracts. It isn't a real place to select these different contracts.

Within the Market Analyzer window, just click on it and start typing to add a new instrument:
If you are wanting to chart the current and future contracts next to each other, you may want to switch the platform's Global Merge Policy to "Do not merge" so that you can see the historical data for each specific contract and not have them merge:
Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
