    Coinbase connection and simulated trading

    Hello,

    I can connect to the Coinbase datafeed, but whether I set up Sim101 or another Sim Account, I get the following error " there is no market data available to drive the simulation engine" when I attempt to use Chart trader to place a trade.
    How do I resolve this for a simulated trade, and when it comes time to go live with my live Coinbase account, how can I live trade?

    Hello Michael,

    The error message indicates no realtime data is received for the instrument in question. What instrument do you have selected? If you select the BTCUSD, does the issue persist?

    When I test this on my end, I'm able to submit orders to the Sim101 account successful.

    Unfortunately you can't trade Coinbase accounts in NinjaTrader Desktop.

      Hey Jason. Thanks for the reply. So, yes, I'm able to submit an order on BTCUSD or DOGUSD, but the moment the price reaches my entry and the entry attempts to execute, that's when I get the error.

          Can you please send me an email from within NinjaTrader Desktop as per the instructions below.
          • Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support
          • Set the To field to Platform Technical Support
          • Enter "Att Jason, 04280724" in the "Subject" field
          • Under 'Please enter any information that you feel will help us resolve your inquiry', please enter some text.
          • Make sure 'Log and trace files' is enabled
          • Click Send
