    How do I keep a strategy live?

    Hi Guys this is a really simple thing but I don't see the ability in Ninja trader so im asking you guys for help on a basic usability function.

    Scenario
    I make a bunch of strategies for auto bots to run 24/7
    I can ..... A: add them to charts and have them run. B add them directly to the strategies tab.

    In both cases they are deleted constantly.
    Even when I save a workspace strategies are deleted off charts and tabs on re-boot.
    I must be doing something wrong or my workflow is incorrect because this would be a basic function. Can I please get some advice on how to run strategies without losing them on reboot? Ninja needs constant reboots.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please go to the Control Center->Workspaces and confirm you have the workspace open and selected which will have a green tile next to the name that had the strategies saved. If the workspace is selected and the strategies still do not show please check if you have any old versions of your Workspace available for recovery, do the following:
    • Go to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management window and expand the 'Restore Workspace' section
    • Click 'Restore', then select any recovery versions of your Workspace that may have been automatically saved with its windows still available.

    After selecting a recovery workspace that works for you, you may rename and save it again from the Control Center > Workspaces drop-down.​

    If the above does not resolve, and you are sure you are saving your workspace correctly, and the strategies continue to be removed upon restarting, I suspect there may be an issue with your Database, and would like to review your files further:

    Please send in your log and trace files so that we may look into what may be occurring.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Make sure to categorize your request at the top.

    Ensure 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

      Thanks Eric, Im too afraid to shut down Ninja but I will on the weekend and send logs.
