version 8.0 chart skin can use in newer version

my strategy edits in the strategy builder were taking forever to modify - minutes. so, i uninstalled and reinstalled different versions of NT8. i downloaded the NT 8.0.28.0 and really like the layout. i can't use it because apex accounts don't register in it. so, i'm using 8.1.1.7. the modifications are still taking minutes. but, anyway - is there a way to have the look of the NT 8.0.28 in the one i'm using?

You should be able to use your Apex account in NinjaTrader Desktop 8.0.28.0 if you connect through Rithmic. Apex Trader Funding has a connection guide at the link below specifically for this version.

You can find the Skin setting at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->General-->Skin. I'm not sure what skin setting you used in 8.0.28.0. All skin settings of 8.0.28.0 are available in 8.1.2.1 as well.

thanks for the reply. i had to change the license key, then the accounts showed up.
