Whats is the latest on connectivity for Schwab/TDA?

Hello llanqui,
Thank you for using NinjaTrader.
TD Ameritrade accounts that have moved to Schwab are currently unable to connect due to a change in TDA/Schwab’s API integration. Our development team is currently working on integrating the new API to be included in a future release of the Desktop Platform.
Any time there is an update to the platform, you are welcome to check our Release Notes to confirm if the updated Connection Adapter has been included.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have a workaround or expected timeline for this solution.
Until then, you are welcome to reach back out to TDA/Schwab and ask for alternate ways to connect to your account with them.

There are a lot of very capable software developers / engineers in the NinjaTrader Ecosystem... a lot ....
why not open this API up to this community and invite them to provide the solution?
then it would not have to be competing inside your internal priorities?
not rocket science... :-)
and probably not a huge amount of work...

Thank you for the suggestion.
When it comes to default features and connection adapters that would be included in the Default NinjaTrader platform, there is more involved with the backend code and adapters that end users and developers would not be privy to nor would they have any access to our back-end development information or agreements that could dictate code or implementation choices.
From here, we have to wait on the development team for further information. Until then, we do not have any further insight or timeline for completion.
For now, you are welcome to reach back out to TDA/Schwab and ask for alternate ways to connect to your account with them.

We just want to get an idea of where things stand with this. In this post:
I'm on NT version 8.1.1.7. Today my account was transferred over from TDA to Schwab and I'm unable to authorize NT8 via Schwab, using the method where you delete the TDA connect link in the NT8 platform, then add it again and then authorize that connection using the authorize button. Hitting the authorize button just takes me
It was said that TD/Schwab is working on a new API to give to NT.
In your post in this thread you said NT developers are working on integrating the new API.
We're just looking for a couple of dates now:
1. When did TD/Schwab finish the API and deliver it to NT?
2. When did NT developers start working on integrating it?
This will help us a lot in deciding what to do for now with our equities trading.

Unfortunately, we are still waiting on further information from the Development team on this and do not have any other information to report.- Please feel free to check the Release Notes any time a new update has been released to see if the updated adapter has been included.
1 & 2. This information cannot be shared publicly as the state of our development processes is not a publicly facing item.
For now, please reach out to TDA/Schwab and ask them for more information on where you can currently connect to their accounts to trade.

Having the ability to use TDA data was the main reason for many members to buy into a NT lifetime license at $1000. It seems to be a NT responsibility to at least come clean and follow through with Schwab instead of telling people to ask Schwab. People used to get better answers when NinjaTrader_Ray used to actively chime in and fixing situations.
