3rd Party Licensing with Multiple Vendors

Hello,

I just have a quick question about using the 3rd Party Licensing option when it comes to having products with multiple vendors.

If someone has multiple products through other vendors (Vendor 1) that required this process to create a tag for the Machine ID.
Then a different vendor (Vendor 2) also requires this same process, but in the Vendor Name option, vendor 2 wants their name in there instead.

Will doing this process for Vendor 2 affect any 3rd party products that are already licensed with Vendor 1?
Or is the ID tied to each separate vendor?

It's tied to each separate vendor and won't cause any issues

Hello TradeSaber,

What backtester831 said is correct, when you use the Help -> 3rd party licensing option the first field asks for the vendors name so that the generated user id only applies to that vendor. It would only conflict if the same vendor mistakenly asked for a new id for example if you purchased a second product from the same vendor and they send out a generic message to reply with a user generated id, you wouldn't need to generate a new ID in that case as it should allow the other product to work as well.
