    Trendlines Re-Draw Themselves - NT8

    Hi,

I have a real problem here. I put a channel on my chart. Then, I turned platform off. Then, I turned it on and re-established connection. Then, I saw my channels weren't the same place where I originally put them. Pictures attached.

    Thanks

    Hello AttiM,

    Thank you for your post.

I would expect that there would be minor differences when reloading historical data, but this does seem to be pretty different.

Were these drawn using drawing tools or by an indicator?

If by an indicator, is this a pre-configured indicator or third party add-on?

I look forward to your response.

      Hi,

I did it manually, no indicator. Now, I locked it, but the same happened after re-start. The channel went exactly to the same place like before. This is actually the trend channel that I am using. By the way used the mahToolBar indicator. The mahToolBar just creates shortcuts for drawing tools at the top of the platform - it does not draw channels. I don't know if that helps. Picture attached.

      Thanks

        Hello AttiM,

        Thanks for your response.

Does this same behavior occur without the involvement of the third party toolbar? If you're unsure, can you please test without using the toolbar icons to active the drawings?

I look forward to your reply.

          Hi Zachary,

I have the drawing tools that come with the platform. Then, I have shortcuts on the side of the platform and on the top from two different parties. I tried to replicate the problem with all of them, after I sent you the previous message, but couldn't. I will try to do it again later and let you know if or when I succeed.

          Thanks
