Compiling Errors

Good Evening,

I'm having troubles trying to remove compiling errors on NinjaScript Editor. The first picture I have attached is the error. I tried to delete the indicator on the indicators folder and did not work, I also tried to reference the dll and after doing so only made more errors pop up which is the second picture attached. I looked at all the possible solutions on you and here, please advice...thanks

Hello boomm,

Can you please perform the steps below once more.

• Shut down NinjaTrader Desktop first
• Navigate to the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->bin-->Custom-->Indicators folder
• Delete the PATSToolBar.cs file
• Start NinjaTrader Desktop and compile your NinjaScript files

If you have different compiling errors, please post a new screenshot. I don't expect the same compiling errors (1st picture) after deleting the PATSToolBar.cs file.

thank you for your replay, I do not see this listed inside the folder. I believe this might have been the indicator I deleted inside compile window in indicators. I restarted my NT and kept reference the indicators .dll and I have a new error list...please advice

Can you please perform the following steps.

• Shut down NinjaTrader and navigate to the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->bin-->Custom-->DrawingTools folder.
• Delete the @PathTool.cs file
• Download the NinjaTrader 8.1.2.1 installer file as per the link below if you don't have it anymore.

• Double click the installer file and repair NinjaTrader.

Once NinjaTrader is repaired, please start NinjaTrader and compile again.

is there a way for me to stay on 8.28.0? I remember I tried to update my NT before and my system could not even start without having errors.

Yes, you can download the 8.0.28.0 installer file using the same instructions. Version 8.0.28.0 can be found on the right under 'Prior Releases'.
