How to remove an Addon to Ninjatrader 8

Referring to this(https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...ts#post1138095) post, in the forum somewhere,

I have installed this Addon and facing all sorts of problems!
I'd like to uninstall it from my Ninjatrader8 as it is slowing down and blocking my NT8 from performing its best!

I have tried all the possible ways I could find but none helped.

I thank everyone who's taking the time even to read this. And definitely, any help is highly appreciated.

There is an 'Activate' button that blocks everything.

Trying to remove it from the NinaScript assembly doesn't show the Addon in there either!

NinjaScript editor doesn't help to find it in there!

Where can I find it to remove? And, more importantly, how? My live trades are getting affected by this, unfortunately!!!

    Hello,

What error do you receive when attempting to remove under Tools>Remove NinjaScript Assembly?

Have you tried manually deleting the .dll file in NinjaTrader 8 \ bin \ custom?

Thanks NinjaTrader_RyanS , I can't even start the process of removal as I can't find it anywhere yet, although its effect is everywhere!! See that Activate Button? That is the result of the installation of the said Addon. Now I want to remove the Addon, but can't locate it anywhere. Can Someone please try to install it, check it out and find a way to show me where to find it in some location/Directory to uninstall it from?
backtester831 , can't do any manual removal as I can't even locate it anywhere in the folders under Ninjatrader 8.

Hi all, I just had my NT8 uninstalled completely, restarted my computer(which was very important in my case) and reinstalled it. And now it has given me another task of reconfiguring it to the previous state!! It's going to take some time(in days) though.

My understanding was that all the indicators are somewhat vetted by the NInja ecosystem for compatibility with the other indicators in the system or so. but it looks like it is not always the case.

OR maybe I wasn't careful enough before installing it(! which should be the case!).

Actually, I'd like to suggest that there should be a detailed report submitted by the developers regarding the locations where the scripts are installed and more importantly what it is called after the installation. Many a time I see that the installed scripts are called a different name than the one that is advertised on the ecosystem site. Which needless to say is confusing!!

Anyway, Thanks to everyone for the attention and help. Happy trading!!

I think you may have a misconception of what the User App Share is, but regardless for this specific addon, it does seem like even after deleting the files it places in the AddOns folder, then NT needs to be manually recompiled to see it take effect.

Yeah!! I completely agree with you. I realise UserAppShare's existence and no complaints there, just a bit of rumbling. No offence meant to anyone here or otherwise. I understand the complications here as even the NT7&8 remind this before adding the addon. Nonetheless, I am grateful for a community like this one here as a helping resort to get awesome help.

              Anyway, thanks to all!
