Desktop 8.1.2.1 SIM account wont allow me to trade

First time setup.
I subscribed to CME and have continuum setup on desktop connections.
Whenever I try to use the SIM account to trade it fails

1/30/2024 8:28:30 AM	Order	Sim101, There is no market data available to drive the simulation engine. affected Order: Buy 1 Market

I also get these errors saying my instruments are not enabled

1/30/2024 8:39:42 AM	Default	'QM MAR24' is not enabled for real time level I quotes.

on a side not, I also get this error

1/30/2024 8:28:30 AM	NinjaScript	There was an error sending a mail message: The SMTP server has unexpectedly disconnected.
