Historical Import File Name Format

Hello Experts help please!

I have file for ES data from Jan 2020 to Dec2022. Could you help me of how to name this file to import?

I followed the instructions of naming like the below but its not working:

Formatting the File Name

When using the NinjaTrader format, the name of the text file to be imported must be the NinjaTrader instrument name followed by a period and "Last", "Bid", or "Ask" depending on the data type. For example:


ES 12-09.Bid.txt for the S&P E-mini December contract bid price data

Thank you very much for your post.

Based on the file name, this data would be added to the ES 12-09. However, this instrument has not been traded since mid-December 2009.

Please ensure the data is saved to the correct instrument name, such as the ES 03-20 to ES 12-23, depending on the data that has been downloaded.

If this still fails, please send us the file you are trying to import, and we can take a closer look at it.

You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support

Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief note in the message referring to this post.

Please also attach the text file to this email.
